The Wexler and Head-Marsden groups co-hosted a special symposium at the Midwest-Great Lakes Regional ACS Meeting entitled Chemical Theory Across Scales with a great lineup of speakers: Micheline Soley, David Mazziotti, Bess Vlaisavljevich, Chris Bartel, and Chris Wolverton.

We also had great group turn out with several excellent presentations including:

  • Tim Krogmeier's talk on his recent work studying isoquinoline
  • Dr. Yangyang Guo's poster on her recent work studying a copper molecular qubit candidate
  • Julie Lampert's poster on her on-going work investigating periodic trends in transition metal oxides
  • Emily Oh's poster on her recent work exploring biological complexes using our singular value decomposition algorithm
